A neurodiversity-affirming approach

I adapt therapy to suit your needs, interests and communication style. Together we create a space that feels comfortable, where you can explore and reflect at your own pace.

Flexible communication

We can use talking, writing, creative tools or a mix.

Sensory awareness

A calm environment, with sensory needs in mind.

No need to mask

You can be yourself here. There's no pressure to fit in or pretend.

Going at your pace

We take the time you need, with a flexible approach.

What clients say

I didn't have to explain myself or pretend to be fine. Kate let me talk in the way that works for me.

Young person

It was the first time I felt understood rather than corrected.

Adult client

Kate was patient and practical, and she worked with us as a family.

Frequently asked questions

Neurodiversity support FAQs

It means I see neurodivergence as a natural difference, not something to fix. We focus on understanding you, your strengths and what helps, rather than trying to make you fit a mould.

Yes. You don't need a formal diagnosis to work with me. Some people are still exploring whether they might be neurodivergent, and that's absolutely fine.

We can change how we communicate, the pace of sessions, the setting and the activities we use. I'll check in regularly about what's working for you.

Yes. With a young person's agreement, I can work alongside parents and carers so that support feels joined up.
